Dr. Dehabadi obtained her PhD in Chemistry at University of Saskatchewan. Her PhD project focused on “Development of biopolymers and their modified forms as sustainable sorbent materials”. She also holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from University of Mashhad (Mashhad, Iran). Through her studies she has gained valuable experience in separation technology and environmental processes, and a broad variety of multi-step syntheses and development of new methodologies for application in total synthesis. She also has experience in various analytical techniques such as NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS (Q-TOF orbitrap), FTIR, TOC, HPLC, TGA, and SEM analyses, and in chemistry software (ISIS Draw, Spartan, MATLAB, ChemDraw, ChemSketch).
