Leila Dehabadi, Ph.D. (Research Analyst)
Dr. Dehabadi obtained her PhD in Chemistry at University of Saskatchewan. Her PhD project focused on “Development of biopolymers and their modified forms as sustainable sorbent materials”. She also holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from University of Mashhad (Mashhad, Iran). Through her studies she has gained valuable experience in separation technology and environmental processes, and a broad variety of multi-step syntheses and development of new methodologies for application in total synthesis. She also has experience in various analytical techniques such as NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS (Q-TOF orbitrap), FTIR, TOC, HPLC, TGA, and SEM analyses, and in chemistry software (ISIS Draw, Spartan, MATLAB, ChemDraw, ChemSketch). Currently, she is a Research Analyst of Prairie Tide, working on quality control of oil.
