Sourav Gangopadhyay, M.Sc. (Research Analyst)
Mr. Gangopadhyay obtained his M.Sc. degree from the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan in 2015. He worked on the project titled “In vitro production of selected C-repeat binding factors (CBF) encoded by group five chromosomes of winter wheat cultivar Norstar”. During graduate studies, his research was to evaluate the role of selected abiotic stress inducible transcription factors in cold tolerance. This research helped him to learn techniques related to biotechnology, molecular biology and general agriculture practices, as well as state of the art machinery systems including HPLC based protein and peptide purification system and surface plasmon resonance (SPR).
