Martin J. King, Ph.D. (VP Product Development & Analytics)

Dr. King is the VP Product Development & Analytics for Prairie Tide. He develops protocols for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), product certification, and quality control and assurance. Dr. King conducts and coordinates activities required for meeting the regulatory requirements prior to product release at Prairie Tide. In addition, He has final authority for clearance of products, specifications and analyses.

Previously, Dr. King has managed research to advance pharmaceutical products from early phase development to adoption for use. He was Assistant Director (Product Development) for 10 years at Helix BioPharma, covering QC-in-charge and the project leader for the analytical, bioanalytical and the microbiological divisions. He was responsible for ensuring all required analysis for pharmaceutical testing occurred under GMP conditions and complied with Health Canada and FDA regulations. He also maintained record in accordance with GMP.
